Diana Li is a curator, artist and arts organizer based in the San Francisco Bay Area, currently residing on Huchuin, unceded Chochenyo Ohlone land, also known as Oakland, California. Her video work has been featured in places like the Contemporary Jewish Museum, Root Division, Southern Exposure, SOMArts, Yerba Buena Center for the Arts and CAAMFest. As an organizer, she is a founding member of Appendix Collective, formed through the Asian American Women Artists Association’s Emerging Curators Program in which she co-curated the collective’s first eponymous exhibition with Erina C Alejo. Through AAWAA, she later went on to co-curate "Agrarianaa: Art Inspired by APA Agricultural Roots" in 2019. Diana has also coordinated multiple festivals and programs within the AAPI community, including the United States of Asian America Festival with the Asian Pacific Islander Cultural Center (APICC) and APAture at Kearny Street Workshop. She currently serves as Managing Director at AAWAA and holds an MFA in Studio Art from San Francisco Art Institute and a BA in Visual Arts Media and Ethnic Studies from UC San Diego.
