Katie is a visual artist from Vancouver, BC. Being biracial and autistic, her work often draws from themes based in racial identity and mental health. With experience rooted in DIY comics, Katie’s practice involves a writing process that results in a visual poetry that depicts the emotion in everyday moments. For the past eight years, she has applied her illustrative style to contemporary tattooing.
